In June 2019, more than 60 famous landmarks and buildings in Ireland and across Europe lit up in blue as part of the Go Atlantic Blue initiative to ‘celebrate our connection to the Atlantic Ocean’ and to mark World Oceans Day on June 8th. In 2020 The Marine Institute approached me to produce a gift book with photographs documenting the various blue-lit sites in Ireland including Trinity College, UCD, Dunguaire Castle; Dublin, Cork and Shannon Airports; and government buildings in Merrion Square. A specially foiled, clothbound slipcase was also produced to house the book.
